ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE CLUB ON TUESDAY 18th FEBRUARY 2025 COMMENCING AT 7.00PM

Please note: As per Rule 31(7) – A member desiring to bring any business before a meeting may give notice of that business in writing to the Manager at least twenty-eight (28) days prior to the meeting, and the Manager shall include that business in the notice calling the next General Meeting after receipt of the notice. Closes 21^st January 2025 @ 5pm 14^th January 2025

Hereby calls for Nominations for the following Board Positions in accordance with Rule 17 of the Clubs constitution.

* All nominees if elected are subject to the approval of the V.G.C.C.C as an Associated Individual of the Morwell Bowling Club & Recreation Centre Inc. This incorporates the passing of a Police and Credit check; information packs are available from reception.

Celebrating the Morwell community since 1913

The Morwell Bowling Club was formed in 1913 with a 3 rink green and 41 founding members, during the 1920’s an additional rink was built with plans put forward in 1945 to construct a seven rink green on a new site which was leased from the shire and was part of the recreation reserve. This is now the present site of the bowling club in Hazelwood Road, green was constructed and funded wholly by members; the green was officially opened on New Year’s Day 1949.
